How do I set up my device to read my check engine light?

If you have a compatible device, you are already set up to receive check engine alerts. To see which of your devices are receiving alerts:

1. Go to Setup, then Device Setup.
2. In the list of devices, check the column labeled Check Engine Compatible.
3. Compatible devices will be marked Yes. Devices that are not able to receive check engine alerts are marked No.

In order to see check engine alerts on the map, you need to turn on that option.

1. Go to Setup, then Alert Settings.
2. Check the box for "Enable Check Engine Alerts on Map."
